Il 3 Novembre in diretta su YOUTUBE

si è svolto il primo YOUTUBE MUSIC AWARDS. 

Presentato da Jason Schwartzman,

la regia dell'evento è stata affidata a Spike Jonze 

(con la co-regia di Chris Milk in alcune esibizioni),

che in più di un occasione ha generato dei 

veri e propri "video musicali live"!

Ed infatti, le dichiarazioni del  vice presidente 

del marchio YouTube, sono state:

“Stiamo cercando di creare video dal vivo durante il premio 

in modo tale che l’esperienza diventi più sul creare che sul presentare. 

La musica è il nostro pane quotidiano e il nostro cuore 

e la nostra anima qui su YouTube. 

Il nostro obiettivo principale è quello di non fare solo un altro show 

di consegnare premi.

 Abbiamo voluto fare qualcosa di speciale”
